Clarendon Fund 10th Anniversary Article Competition
To celebrate ten years since the first Clarendon Scholars were invited to submit entries to a feature article competition to give an insight into the inspirational and diverse experiences of our current Scholars.
Scholars were asked to submit an article, intended for a broad audience of readers, speaking about the highlights of their study at Oxford, how thier work relates to global research themes, how the Clarendon Fund and their college have helped them to acheive thier graduate ambitions and their experiences of being a part of the unique and diverse Clarendon Scholars community.
And the winner is...
We would like to congratulate Clarendon Scholar Nitzan Peri-Rotem on winning the article competition. Nitzan is a 2010 Clarendon Scholar at Nuffield College reading for a DPhil in Sociology and will receive a £300 prize which will be presented at the 2011 Clarendon Fund Annual Reception in November.
The two runner-up essays selected by the judges were by Claire Higgins, the newly elected Clarendon Scholars' Council President who is studying for a DPhil in History and Emma Kaufman and 2010 scholar who is reding for a DPhil in Law.
